Course Length: Approximately 8 Hours

This 2 DAY CLASS is perfect for the beginner who wants to learn proper handgun fundamentals. The NRA is the standard when it comes to handgun training and education.

The NRA curriculum presents the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.

Topics Included: “Almost everything you need to know to get you confident and safe with a firearm”.

During the course an NRA Certified Instructor will validate comprehension and application of gun safety rules; range protocol, proper handling, loading and unloading procedures, application of pistol shooting fundamentals, shooting positions and live fire with a final shooting qualification.

This class will be conducted over two days with a portion in a classroom setting and a morning portion on a firing range with a certified NRA instructor.

When the class culminates you will feel confident and competent to utilize a handgun safely and efficiently.

NRA-CCW

Price: $200 (Group rates available)

Course Length: 12-13 Hours

Meeting Shasta County and surrounding areas hourly req.

This is not your average CCW class. This NRA class IS the standard for CCW education and NRA curriculum will be strictly utilized.

The Greek poet Archilochus said “we don’t rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training”.

This class is for those who earnestly want to learn how to safely conceal and carry a weapon for self-defense and defense of their loved ones. This NRA certified class teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal defense. The NRA CCW Course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. This course gives you direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end. A portion of the class will be conducted in a classroom setting and the other portion on a range with a certified NRA Instructor.

Course topics include: Firearm Safety, Pistol Nomenclature and Selecting a Pistol for Self-Defense, Basic Defensive Pistol Skills, Drawing from Concealment, Loading and Stoppage Remediation, Mindset, Carry Modes and Pistol Concealment.

*This course will have a condensed bleeding control course incorporated at no additional charge. Student’s will be taught the appropriate use of tourniquets and will receive their own tourniquet.

Combat Pistol

Price: $400

Course Length: 7 Hours

This private 7 hour (approx) class is designed for the more seasoned beginner to intermediate, semi-automatic handgun enthusiast.

This course of fire is for the Patriot who can legally utilize a semi-automatic firearm AND who desires to be able to responsibly use it when it counts.

Your pistol craft will be more honed at the culmination of this course.

Firing your weapon is a skill & that skill must be developed and honed. Also, like all skills they are perishable if not practiced and reinforced regularly. This class will help you develop and refine the skills needed to be a successful practitioner of the modern sidearm. (A portion of this class may be conducted in a martial arts academy.)

This course was designed for the handgun enthusiast who desires to sharpen their skills and take their pistol fundamentals to the next level. This class teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to operate a pistol for personal defense. The curriculum is instructed by an NRA-certified instructor.
